The Stop2go line features the unique timekeeping of official Swiss railway clocks were time pauses 2 seconds before the minute hand advances. To achieve this iconic timekeeping, two quartz motors are used to control the seconds hands and minute/hour hands separately. The time and motion of the hands are maintained by a "special integrated circuit" to ensure precise timekeeping. The minute and hour hands are backlit with superluminova to provide easy reading in the dark without limiting Mondaine's modern design aesthetic.
